IB Diploma Programı yurtdışındaki üniversiteler tarafından tanınan, üniversitelere kabul alma ve burs bulma konularında mezunlara ciddi avantajlar sağlayan bir programdır. Son yıllarda ülkemizdeki devlet ve özel liselerde IBDP sunan okulların sayısında da artış olduğunu görüyoruz. Velilerimiz ve öğrencilerimiz ülkemizdeki okulların yanı sıra yurt dışında bu programı sunan okulları da merak ediyorlar ve araştırıyorlar. IB Diploma Puanı Nasıl Hesaplanır?
Diploma puanları, altı dersin her birinden ve çekirdekten alınan notların toplanmasıyla hesaplanır. Adaylar her ders için 1-7 arasında bir not ve çekirdek unsurlar (EE ve TOK) için üç puana kadar alırlar. Standart seviye (SL) ve daha yüksek seviye (HL) dersleri, adayın nihai puanlarının belirlenmesinde eşit derecede değerlidir. Diploma almak için, öğrenciler en az 24 puan almalı ve aşağıda listelenen koşulları yerine getirmelidir.
Bir adayın alabileceği en yüksek puan 45 puandır. 45’lik maksimum puan, 6 (dersler) çarpı 7 (en yüksek not) artı çekirdekten 3 puandan elde edilir.
